This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys solving diverse challenges in both field and office settings.

Due to the structure of our team, you'll take on a wide range of responsibilities and regularly shift between tasks. This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to build a well-rounded skill set in a small-team environment, while also giving you the chance to collaborate and connect with experts across our company footprint, broadening your perspective and strengthening your professional network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including building material inspections and sampling
  • Screen environmental media using field instruments and established methods to evaluate potential impacts
  • Support and help oversee remediation activities, including coordinating monitoring and compliance testing
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot field equipment to ensure accurate and reliable data collection
  • Follow and promote safe work practices, particularly in construction and industrial environments
  • Accurately document field activities and review data and test results for quality and completeness
  • Assist with data interpretation and preparation of technical reports and regulatory submittals
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet project goals, schedules, and deliverables
  • Support environmental permitting and regulatory compliance efforts alongside senior staff
  • Assist regional team members to balance workload and meet project demands
  • Travel to local and regional project sites and adapt to changing priorities across field and office tasks
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related field

  • Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of environmental regulatory compliance and reporting processes
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot field equipment issues
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel to project sites, including use of a personal vehicle as needed
  • Ability to perform physical fieldwork, including frequently lifting up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting over 50 pounds

Preferred

  • Experience using field instruments, GPS, or environmental monitoring equipment
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or willingness to obtain certification
