Electrical Engineer IV

Pay Rate: $70 per hour

• Location: Duluth, MN or Houston, TX
• Duration: 12 Months
• Work Mode: 80% Office, 20% Field

• Oversee the design for Liquids Pump station facilities for expansion and maintenance capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and specifications and industry standards.
• Manage third-party engineering consultants to ensure design deliverables meet quality standards while maintaining budget and schedule.
• Ensure all pump station facilities are designed in accordance with regulations, applicable industry codes, and corporate standards.
• Design electrical components and interconnects.
• Review and approve design deliverables, such as drawings, technical reports, and material listing sheets.
• Participate in design review meetings with engineering firm, Project Manager, Operations, and Construction personnel.
• Review vendor materials quotations and prepare technical evaluations.
• Identify and communicate new lessons learned and quality incidents for assigned projects.
• Support department initiatives as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of industry experience.

• Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects, and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
• Problem-solving issues through use of standards, modification of standards, and/or previous experience.
• Effectively communicate technical issues and impacts to technical and non-technical staff.
