Sr. Structural Engineer

The ideal candidate will support the design, analysis, and inspection of structural systems for buildings, bridges, marine structures, and other infrastructure projects. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines and contribute to projects from concept to construction.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance and regulations.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, engineers, and architects.
  • Prepare documents, detailed calculations and specifications for structural systems within established schedule and budget
  • Work closely with current and prospective customers
  • Perform construction site visits and field observations.
  • Collect field data, perform research and analysis, and preparation of field reports

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • 8+ years related experience in design of structural systems such as concrete, masonry, steel, wood, cold formed steel, precast concrete, etc.
  • Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong mathematical skills for calculations related to load analysis and structural design.
  • Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or other CAD software for drafting purposes.
  • Passion for structural engineering innovation and design.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to success.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License, as travel may be required to complete projects

Compensation:
