Job DescriptionGrowing engineering firm is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer for their Duluth, Minnesota office! Responsibilities:
Design electrical systems for commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial, and public-sector building projects Develop construction documents (including plans, specifications, calculations, and reports) Perform power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage system design Coordinate designs with architects, contractors, owners, and other engineering disciplines Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction observations Deliver projects on schedule and within budget Apply applicable codes and standards to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant designs Assist with project proposals, client meetings, and technical presentations Mentor/train junior staff Manage multiple projects/priorities in a collaborative environment Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field PE License in Minnesota and ability to obtain licensure in North Dakota within six months 5+ years of experience designing electrical building systems (adjust years as appropriate) Experience with commercial, institutional, industrial, or municipal building projects Proficient with design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP, or similar tools Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, IBC, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standards Salary is commensurate with experience.
