Senior Project Controls Coordinator
- Contract Length: 12 Months
- Pay Rate: $60-$63/hour (W2), depending on experience

Job Overview:- The Project Controls Coordinator IV (PCC IV) is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of project controls for Engineering and Construction capital projects. This role leads project controls planning, integrates cost and scheduling functions, and ensures the quality, accuracy, and consistency of all project controls deliverables. The PCC IV is typically assigned to highly complex, multi-year capital projects exceeding $100 million annually in project value.
- Lead and coordinate the development and execution of the overall Project Execution Plan.
- Develop, maintain, and manage project controls deliverables, including:
- Cost Reports and Cost Variance Analyses
- Cash Flow Reports and Variance Analyses
- Schedule Reports and Schedule Variance Analyses
- Project Change Management Procedures
- Project Controls Plans
- Monthly Progress Reports
- Integrate cost control and scheduling functions to ensure a cohesive and effective project controls team.
- Define project controls staffing and resource requirements to support project objectives.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of all project controls deliverables to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.
- Lead the coordination and collection of required documentation and deliverables for Phase Gate Review meetings throughout the six-phase project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to support project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting activities.
- Provide feedback, lessons learned, and recommendations to project controls and project systems functional groups based on practical experience with the implementation of new tools, processes, and procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project controls performance, reporting capabilities, and overall project delivery.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related technical discipline, or equivalent Project Controls Coordinator-specific industry experience.
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience in project controls, project management, engineering, construction, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a matrix organizational structure.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling and cost control processes associated with pipeline, facility, and industrial construction projects.
- Familiarity with industry best practices in project scheduling, forecasting, cost management, and project controls.
- Proven ability to implement project scheduling and cost control processes and methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality project controls documentation and reporting.
