Duration: Until December 22, 2024 (part‑time, onsite, Minneapolis‑based); relocation assistance not provided.
About the RoleMarquee Development seeks Programming Production Assistants for North Loop Green, a new public space located at 328 N 4th St, Minneapolis, MN. The role involves creating a welcoming environment and fun experiences for visitors, supporting daily outdoor programs such as fitness classes, pop‑up markets, live entertainment, and community events.
Responsibilities- Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of events on the Green, including tents, tables, chairs, and lawn games.
- Act as a public‑facing customer service representative, interacting with guests and event vendors.
- Assist in operating the Green Video Board and sound system.
- Track and report event attendance.
- Create event execution sheets and distribute to all participating stakeholders.
- Create event recaps after events are complete.
- Maintain event equipment inventory.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and professional judgment.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and remain calm and poised.
- Willingness to take initiative and adapt to a variety of situations.
- Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Availability for non‑traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Experience in event management, visitor services, real‑estate tenant services, concierge services, or hospitality services at a hotel is a plus.
- Knowledge of major social media platforms (desired).
- Strong oral communication and human‑relations skills.
