Reporting to and partnering with the Executive Director, the Finance Manager will set MN350 and MN350 Action financial policy and direction while actively participating in and driving the agency’s overall economic strategy.
The Finance Manager will lead, with the Executive Director and Board Treasurer, all financial administration, budgeting, grant and contract management, and facilities management, and will provide direction for facilities management.
As a member of the Leadership Team, the Finance Manager will work closely with a motivated and engaged Board of Directors.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field with a minimum of (5) years of related experience, preferably in a non-profit environment.
- Five (5) years of experience with demonstrated skills in receivables, payables, and payroll, including experience with Quick Books Online.
- Preference for three (3) or more years experience in human services and/or non-profit agency, working with grants accounting.
- Experience promoting and adhering to established policy and procedures to ensure funds are expended in a fiscally responsible manner and adheres to all agency standards.
- Experience holding staff accountable to processes and standards, optimizing the performance of agency processes and leveraging technology.
- Strength in problem solving, planning, evaluation and coordination of services across an organization with an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Advance PC skills in Word, and Excel, and Quickbooks Online.

Work is performed in a hybrid work environment. It involves viewing a computer screen for six to eight hours daily and requires hand-eye coordination.
