Responsibilities- Work with large and small companies in various industries.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients built on an understanding of their businesses and challenges.
- Assist on multiple team engagements each year, contributing to various parts of assignments.
- Collaborate within a respectful team environment that helps associates perform at their best.
- Work on a team focused on a wide range of tax specialty areas: accounting for income taxes, accounting methods and periods, corporate taxation, federal credits and incentives, individual taxation, mergers and acquisitions, pass‑through entity taxation, private client services, and not‑for‑profit organizations.
- Complete tax planning and research.
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Understand tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
- 90 credit hours completed.
- Working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
- Major in Accounting (or related field).
- Travel to assigned client locations required; must have access to reliable transportation.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work effectively on a team.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Compensation Range: $30 – $35 per hour.
