Position: Nonprofit Accountant (Hybrid) — Donor Finances & Audit

Ledgent is partnering with a non-profit client in the Saint Louis Park are looking for an immediate Staff to Senior Accountant who has worked within the non profit space. Ideal profile would have 2-3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, be tech-savvy, and strong communicator.

Direct Hire. $65-$75k. Hybrid schedule (3x/week on site, 2x/week remote). MUST LIVE LOCALLY.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for processing and recording daily and monthly donations received from fundraising and community events
  • Assist in preparing the twice a week Cash Projection/Liquidity Plan
  • Research and enter bank transactions for receipts and charges. Apply receipts to accounts receivable invoices.
  • Balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Bank account reconciliations.
  • Assist with preparing the annual audit, completing the form 990, processing compliance reporting of financial records and review of internal controls
  • Assist in preparing the annual budget for accuracy and completeness
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by VP of Finance.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working in a faith-based organization
  • 2-3+ years experience working as an accountant in a non profit organization
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Salesforce experience (bonus)
