• Work in a project‑driven environment to support and lead multiple complex fraud investigations simultaneously.
• Gather and analyze relevant financial data or other documentation.
• Independently conduct investigation interviews.
• Write clear and concise reports for investigation findings and report the outcome to senior management.
• Develop tactics and recommend improvements to enhance the control environment and mitigate risks identified during fraud investigations.
• Communicate learnings from the investigations with senior leadership.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance (completed and verified before start).
• Five (5) years of experience working in forensic accounting, investigations, or a similar position in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Accounting certifications such as CPA, CIA, CFE.
• Additional language skills.

• On‑site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
• Travel may include up to 15% domestic/international.
• Relocation not authorized.

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B).
