About the RoleThe Finance Manager, reporting directly to the Coesia North America CFO, will oversee financial operations, ensure accurate accounting, and execute monthly and yearly closings. This role includes providing financial insights to management, supporting budget and forecast preparations, maintaining data integrity, and managing audits. Additionally, the position involves participating in financial reviews and special projects to support Coesia’s financial and operational goals.
The Finance Manager will also supervise one direct report: an Accounting Specialist.
- Manage and work independently on the day-to-day financial operations of the company, working closely with the Coesia Shared Services NAM accounting team to ensure accurate and timely accounting.
- Execute monthly and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records.
- Review and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the Coesia Financial Manual and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including Local GAAP and IFRS.
- Manage and track Percentage of Completion (POC) revenue recognition for ongoing projects.
- Maintain system controls to ensure data integrity.
- Support the preparation of the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.
- Coordinate internal and external audits in collaboration with the Coesia NA&M Controller, ensuring proper documentation and timely responses.
- Provide clear financial analysis and insights to the company and regional management teams regarding financial and operational performance.
- Participate in monthly financial closing meetings with company and regional management teams, presenting actual results, full-year forecasts, and key variances.
- Oversee activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable collections, bank reconciliations, journal entries, operational support, and assistance with month-end closing.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving financial processes, controls, and reporting.

- Manufacturing/cost accounting experience
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and develop direct reports, using power BI and Query, as well as coordinate with shared service providers
- Knowledge of managerial reporting procedures and key tools
- Controlling and FP&A experience in manufacturing companies considered as a plus
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting financial and operational data and to effectively interact with Executives and Top Management Teams
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, self-starter and entrepreneurial attitude
- CPA highly desirable
