Description
Are you looking to take the next step in your banking career? We are seeking an experienced Personal Banker to support our consumer and business‑related retail banking activities. In this role, you will maintain a deep knowledge of our retail products, provide practical problem‑solving for customers, and offer leadership and guidance to less experienced branch staff.

Performance Dimensions & Performance Indicators (KPI)Specific KPI’s critical to the success of the position:
- Relationship Management: Conduct client interviews to identify financial needs, recommend solutions, and manage long‑term customer relationships.
- Account Services: Assist customers with selecting, opening, maintaining, and closing all consumer and business account types.
- Business Development: Cultivate retail business by capitalizing on growth opportunities and driving revenue production.
- Product Cross‑Selling: Proactively cross‑sell bank products and services, referring customers to specialized internal staff when appropriate.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process retail/commercial deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial services.
- Leadership & Training: Act as a resource for the team by providing technical guidance, training, and operational support to less experienced branch staff.
- General Branch Support: Perform essential branch clerical duties, assist with IRA/HSA administration, and cross‑train in teller operations.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: 12 months of financial customer service or related banking training.
- Core
Skills:
Fundamental understanding of banking products, cross‑selling strategies, and debit/credit principles. - Preferred Assets: 2+ years of direct banking experience is highly preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills across phone, email, and face‑to‑face interactions.
- Technical
Skills:
Ability to navigate standard office technology, software platforms, and mathematical problem‑solving.
- Operates in an open, comfortable, standard retail bank branch layout.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) at a workstation for extended periods.
- Constant operation of computer systems and standard office technology.
