The Saint Paul Police Department is seeking Parking Enforcement Officers to help keep our streets safe and accessible by enforcing parking regulations throughout the city. This is a non-sworn, entry-level position that plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with parking laws.
Here’s What You Can Expect To Do- Patrol & Enforce – Monitor city streets, parking lots, and private properties to enforce all parking regulations and issue citations for violations.
- Impound Vehicles – Tow and impound vehicles that violate parking laws, ensuring compliance with city ordinances.
- Assist the Public – Provide helpful information on parking regulations, directions, and city services to residents and visitors.
- Report & Testify – Maintain records of violations, report damaged parking meters or signs, and testify in court when required.
The Parking Enforcement Officer position is a transition position into Police Officer for the City of Saint Paul.
