Position: DIRECTOR - REHAB ADMIN

Salary Range: $58.49 - $93.57 Hourly

Hours:

DAY ONLY, 8 hours
Weekend Requirement:
Generally No Weekends
FTE: FULL TIME, 1.00 FTE

The Director-Rehab Services is responsible for leadership, both administrative and clinical, for Rehab Services (including the 8W inpatient rehabilitation unit, acute care services and outpatient rehab services, including oversight of all outpatient therapy sites and programs). Plans, directs, controls and coordinates activities in accordance with SLH goals and Management Values and Expectations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in healthcare field.
  • Experience: Three (3) years previous clinical experience in relevant areas and two (2) years management experience.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current license in Minnesota to practice as a Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapist.

  • Education: Masters Degree.

Knowledge of current clinical practices; principles and methods of administration, supervision and management; demonstrated skills in communication, coordination, consultation and evaluation; demonstrated proficiency in writing proposals and reports; evidence of leadership, creativity and initiative; evidence of teaching skills; knowledge of budgeting practice. Ability to project and articulate needs of department and staff; plan, delegate and guide the work of subordinates; establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with all levels of personnel and medical staff;

    Ability to comprehend and apply advanced mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plan and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations and proportions to practical situations.

    Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Age Specific Competencies – Skilled at assessment and knowledgeable of growth and development. Provides appropriate care respective to the ages of the patients served per clinical environment.
