Job Purpose/DescriptionTo assist the Patient Client Management II and III course coordinator for Physical Therapy or Clinic Occupational Therapy Operations Manager for Occupational Therapy with clinic coordination.
Job Duties- Assist with marketing the mCC services
- Set up class cohort in WebPT and manage patients in WebPT (electronic medical record)
- Schedule clinic patients for PT/OT (as well as PTA as indicated)
- Manage the clinic space (e.g., cleaning, equipment inventory, laundry, etc.)
- Perform equipment maintenance (e.g., Hydrocollator cleaning)
- Manage inventory of supplies
- Monitor the clinic phone and email
- Greet and register patients daily
- Collect clinic donations
- Perform additional mCC management tasks as assigned by the faculty coordinators
- Communicate with students regarding clinic and patient-related matters
- Communicate with faculty regarding any concerns
- Must be a current CSS Graduate student.
- Federal work study eligibility is required (international students exempt).
- Student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program or Master’s of Occupational Therapy program in good standing.
- Must be familiar with the terminology of the PT/OT profession and how to use and care for equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust communication appropriately based on situational demands.
- Strong organizational and time management skills required.
- Job functions require sitting, standing, and walking during the shift.
- Professional presence to represent the College to the public required.
- Ability to perform all of the above functions during an assigned workday without significant risk of injury.
