Position Overview:
We are seeking a Mammographer to join our growing team. Unlike typical travel roles, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on a state‑of‑the‑art mobile scanner while serving local and diverse communities. This role provides flexibility of different environments while being a part of a stable, full‑time, employee‑centric organization. You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with various healthcare facilities and become a key member of our Shared Medical Services ONETEAM.
New to Mammography? We offer paid initial training to help you get started in this rewarding specialty.
Anticipated
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- Weekly guarantee of hours
Responsibilities:
- Screening mammography at clinics, corporate and community outreach locations within the Twin Cities metro area
- Team of two mammographers or one mammographer and an assistant working together on a 26’ straight truck equivalent mobile mammography unit equipped with Hologic 3D mammography system
- Mammographers and/or assistants drive the mobile unit to the screening locations
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved 2‑year Radiologic Technology program
- Must be registered with ARRT, American Registry of Clinical Radiologic Technologists or Licensed to perform general radiographic procedures
- Prefer 40 hours of training in mammography. Willing to train
- Ability to drive or experience driving equivalent to 26’ straight truck. Willing to train
- Ability to produce quality imaging with limited supervision
- Must be able to interact in responsible, professional and ethical manner
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must possess valid Class D Drivers’ License. CDL NOT REQUIRED
- Must have acceptable driving record
- Successfully pass a pre‑employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and physical
- Must have critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Guaranteed hours
