DescriptionTrails of Orono, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Community Life Assistant / Activity Assistant to join our team.
Trails of Orono Senior Living is located in Orono, MN, just west of Minneapolis, next to the Luce Line Trail. We help seniors age magnificently in our apartment‑style community, providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services.
Position: Community Life Assistant / Activity Assistant
Hourly: $17.50 - $22.50 hourly, depending on experience
Schedule: Full‑time equivalent options below.
Option 1: 0.8 FTE AM 9:00 am – 3:30 pm (Week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat; Week 2: Sun, Mon, Tue, Fri)
Option 2: 0.6 FTE PM 12:30 pm – 7:00 pm (Week 1: Sun, Wed, Thu; Week 2: Wed, Thu, Sat)

As a Community Life Assistant
, you will assist the Community Life Department Supervisor in developing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive community life and wellness services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each tenant. Key duties include:
- Facilitate group programs (large and small groups) as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
- Promote and integrate wellness dimensions into community life programs.
- Communicate programs and develop positive relationships with residents, families, and volunteers.
- Experience working in Assisted Living and Memory Care is strongly preferred.
- Professional ability to relate positively and cooperatively with residents, families, and employees.
- Advanced computer skills, including email use.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
