Job Overview:
Asleep Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The primary purpose of this position is to provide supervision during service recipient's asleep hours and assisting service recipients with their morning routines. The person in this position generally works without direct supervision in the performance of assigned tasks.

Asleep Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP)

• The ideal Asleep Overnight DSP will be able to maintain a set schedule, enjoy working with people, and is a self-starter!
• An Asleep Overnight DSP is available to service recipients throughout the night for any support or assistance they may need. In the morning, you will help everyone rise and shine by supporting people while they get ready for the day!
• You will perform all shift duties in-accordance with program protocols, and follow all program rules and regulations, supervision and safety. You will be able to build relationships with people by providing support and helping them start their day off in a positive way!

Minimum Qualifications:
Asleep Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP)

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow a set schedule and attend all required trainings
• Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Must be 18 Years old or older

Preferred Qualifications:
Asleep Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP)

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• One-year experience working with people with disabilities or people over 65 years of age
• Proven ability to develop positive relationships with persons with developmental disabilities
• Expertise and knowledge of person-centered planning process and philosophy

Job Type:

• Full-time or part-time

Salary:

• $11.41 per hour during asleep hours
• $18.25 per hour during awake hours
