CST - Surgical Technologist Day Shift

Position

Essentia Health is seeking a certified surgical technologist (CST) to serve in the operating room at Miller Dwan Medical Center
, Duluth, Minnesota (Building D – Ellis Hospital). This full‑time day shift position works four 10‑hour days (7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) with no weekend, holiday, or on‑call duties. Relocation assistance is available.

Weekdays only, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., four 10‑hour days per week. No weekend, holiday or on‑call duties.

• Assist the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Prepare instruments, equipment, prostheses, and supplies.
• Maintain sterile technique and workflow in the operating room.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the department.

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Certification as a surgical technologist preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month of hire.

Range: $28.82 – $41.81 per hour.
