Medical Assistant or LPN (Salary $21.00 - 30.89)

You will assist the RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.

You will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.

You will care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Patient Care and Monitoring: Perform routine assessments such as measuring vital signs, recording patient histories, and observing symptoms to assist in diagnosing and monitoring patient health.

Assisting with Procedures: Support physicians and other providers during examinations and minor procedures by preparing equipment, assisting with patient positioning, and ensuring proper infection control.

Coordination of Care: Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement workflows to support efficient and high quality clinic patient experiences.

Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state, i.e. Minnesota, Wisconsin, OR current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified withinone year of date of hire. (Must pass certification withintwo attempts)

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months.
