Job Description
Under the direction of the Director/Manager of Radiology Services, the MRI Technician is responsible for the acquisition of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans of patients of all ages for diagnostic and/or research purposes, utilizing advanced computer‑assisted digital imaging systems. Provides high‑quality MRI scans through operation of specialized equipment to ensure optimum diagnostic clarity for physician interpretation.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Must be registered in MRI by the ARRT within two years of hire/transfer to the position
- If working in North Dakota, must have current radiographer license along with conditional or active Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist registry on North Dakota Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire
