Medical Assistant or LPN – Inbasket Management Family Practice

Essentia Health is seeking a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to support our Family Practice team across multiple clinics within the Twin Ports area. This position focuses on in‑basket management, patient communication, direct patient care tasks as assigned, and clinical support for providers and care teams in the ambulatory setting.

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the appropriate state (e.g., Minnesota, Wisconsin) or current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant, or verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire (must pass certification within two attempts).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months. (Department 46680 – Registry Management Team: BCLS certification is not required).
• This role is an Inbasket Management Position.
• There will be travel expected for this position.
• There is a potential flexibility for a hybrid setting.
• The hours will be 08:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday, with no holidays or weekends.
