Radiology/Imaging - Sonographer
Seeking an experienced Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment providing diagnostic ultrasound services in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings. The Sonographer will perform high-quality imaging exams, assist with minor procedures, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Candidates must be experienced, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist experience required
- RVT, OB-GYN, ARDMS, ARRT, or Abdomen certification required
- Associate Degree or Certificate required
- Graduate of a two-year Radiologic Technology program or Ultrasound Technology program required
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency ultrasound exams required
- Experience assisting with minor procedures required
- Ability to respond within 30 minutes when on call required
- Traveler must reside more than 50 miles from the facility required

Procedures Responsibilities include performing diagnostic ultrasound exams for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients; completing abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, and general ultrasound studies as applicable; assisting with minor procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, fine needle aspiration, and biopsies; preparing patients for exams; ensuring accurate imaging and documentation in Epic; maintaining patient safety and comfort; communicating findings and concerns to radiologists and providers;
following infection prevention and imaging safety protocols; and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide high-quality diagnostic care.
