Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) – Gen/Vascular for a 13‑week assignment in Duluth, Minnesota.
Job Description & RequirementsAs a member of our team, you will provide high‑quality diagnostic sonography services, collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

- Demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
- Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging while prioritizing their comfort and safety.
- Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies.
- Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
- Apply technical expertise and critical thinking to perform sonographic procedures effectively.
- Work efficiently in fast‑paced and high‑pressure environments while maintaining professionalism.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
- Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS).
- Current ARRT certification in sonography.
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
- Apply technical expertise and critical thinking to perform sonographic procedures effectively.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Work efficiently in fast‑paced and high‑pressure environments while maintaining professionalism.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills.
- Physical Abilities – Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
- Interpersonal Skills – Must work effectively with a variety of personnel and present a positive attitude.
- Technical/Motor Skills – Must perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and assist with procedures and equipment.
- Mental Requirements – Must cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and maintain concentration to detail.
- Sensory – Must possess visual acuity and effective communication skills.
