Certified Dietary Manager

This 26-week contract position places a Certified Dietary Manager in a long-term care facility near Carlton, Minnesota. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily oversight and management of dietary services within the long-term care facility.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor menus that meet nutritional standards and residents' dietary restrictions.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely and appropriate meal delivery and dietary care.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to food safety and dietary services.
  • Supervise dietary staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred certification or degree in dietary management or food service administration.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred.
  • Serv Safe or equivalent food safety certification.
  • CPR certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in dietary management or food service within a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with long-term care facilities.
  • Ability to work dayshift (8 AM - 5 PM).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
