Per Diem CNA/HHA
We're looking for outstanding caregivers to join our team in the Duluth area, supporting clients both within the city and throughout a 30-mile radius. This role requires comfort with hands-on cares and assistance with ADLs, helping clients remain safe and supported in their daily routines. We offer a variety of shift lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
- Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's health, behavior, and needs.
- Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.
Requirements:
- A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
- Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license with Auto Insurance.
- Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
- Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
