Key
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Department of Education licensure as an SLP or SLPA
- Experience with school-based speech and language services is strongly preferred
- Ability to work with diverse student populations, adapting support to meet individual needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, support staff, and families
- Adept with documentation, evaluations, and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy for assigned students
- Complete thorough assessments and document progress in alignment with district requirements
- Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals and strategies
- Work cooperatively with classroom teachers and other school professionals to integrate strategies into the school day
- Contribute to problem-solving meetings and provide informed recommendations for student support
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with state and federal regulations
