Step into an impactful speech and language role supporting students for the  school year. In this contract opportunity near Minneapolis, you'll collaborate closely with educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals. Whether you are a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), your expertise will empower students across various age groups in a school environment that values professional growth and student success.

Key

Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Department of Education licensure as an SLP or SLPA
  • Experience with school-based speech and language services is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations, adapting support to meet individual needs
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Adept with documentation, evaluations, and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy for assigned students
  • Complete thorough assessments and document progress in alignment with district requirements
  • Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals and strategies
  • Work cooperatively with classroom teachers and other school professionals to integrate strategies into the school day
  • Contribute to problem-solving meetings and provide informed recommendations for student support
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with state and federal regulations

Compensation for this position ranges from $23.75 to $88.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
