Clinic Care Technician – Float Pool

• Provide assistance with daily patient flow in the clinic setting
• Greet and room patients
• Obtain and document vital signs in patient charts
• Stock and clean exam rooms
• Order and maintain clinic supplies
• Assist with clerical duties
• Float to support other assigned areas, including clinics in Duluth, Hermantown, Proctor, and Superior
• Support providers and clinical staff with administrative and select patient care tasks
• Support patient scheduling and work queue needs
• Follow up on no-shows and coordinate provider review and approval of add-ons
• Support virtual visits and complete patient identification verification
• Chaperone exams as needed
• Administer questionnaires and document in the electronic medical record
• Perform limited patient care tasks based on training
• Process incoming mail, scans, copies, and faxes
• Print and update forms
• Answer internal phone calls
• Place office supply orders as needed

• Customer service skills
• Ability to follow direction and perform tasks within scope of role
• Experience in healthcare or patient care experience
• Experience using electronic medical record
• Medical terminology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire, except for specified Rehab Administration departments
• Legal right to work in the United States
• Successful completion of health screening, immunization review, applicable licensure/certification/education/experience verification, background checks, criminal check, urine drug screen, and MVR where required

Demonstrates proficiency in patient care support, including obtaining vital signs, managing electronic medical records, and assisting with administrative tasks. Strong customer service skills and the ability to follow directions within a healthcare setting are essential.
