Hours: Monday - Friday Daytime Hours

Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually

JOB SUMMARY

Partners Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a SUD Program Manager to oversee the outpatient substance use disorder (SUD) treatment program in Duluth. The SUD Program Manager / LADC plays an influential role in providing leadership, guidance and coaching to the LADC/ADC-T Counselors and Interns on the team. Theobjectiveis toassistand hold counselors accountable to ensure they are achieving their goals, performing according to companystandardsand that they have a clear understanding of agency processes as it pertains to the 12 core functions.

PRIMARY

JOB DUTIES

The SUD Program Manager / LADC is responsible for overseeing the LADC/ADC-T Counselors and ensure that they are effectively providing education, counseling, and treatment to clients within the Intensive Outpatient programs according to the requirements mandated by the MN Department of Human Services (DHS) and 245G. Responsible for auditing their counselor’s documentation of the provision of treatment services including the Initial Service Plan, Comprehensive Assessment, Individual Treatment Plan, Progress Notes, Summary of Termination of Services, Continuing Care Plan, and the maintenance of client records.

The SUD Program Manager / LADCis responsible for providing direct services for clients and covering client caseloads as needed.

ESSENTIAL SUPERVISORY DUTIES
  • Verify that all client documentation is completed and maintained in accordance with 245G and Partners Behavioral Healthcare policies.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and provide coaching or corrective action as necessary.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise LADC/ADC-T Counselors and Interns.
  • Ensure counselor staffing levels are appropriate and maintain weekly group facilitator schedules.
  • Confirm that at least 25 percent of a counselor's scheduled work hours be allocated to indirect services, including documentation of client services, coordination of services with others, treatment team meetings, and other duties.
  • Ensure counselors deliver a minimum of 28 billable direct client contact hours per week.
  • Ensure justice or correctional stakeholders, and other relevant parties, are notified at admission and invited to participate in meetings, maintaining ongoing communication throughout the client’s treatment experience.
  • Confirm that Treatment Reviews are faxed or emailed weekly for each client.
  • Maintain a weekly counselor on-call list to ensure group coverage.
  • Maintain accurate clients list on a daily basis.
  • Manage facility budget, including ordering office and curriculum supplies.
  • Provide supervision to SUD Techs and PRS staff.
  • Monitor program metrics weekly to ensure program efficacy.
  • Audit and approve all rendered services at the end of each treatment week.
  • Ensure facility safety and cleanliness, communicating repairs as needed.
  • Review program curriculum with Director on an annual basis or more frequently if needed.
  • Establish and maintain contact with insurance providers to provide pre-certification information and ongoing clinical review to ensure clients’ continued eligibility.
  • Ensure ongoing communication is maintained with client referrals, probation officers, social service agencies, and other stakeholders.
