Position: Contract- Certified Dietary Manager

Contract Certified Dietary Manager

Contract Certified Dietary Manager provides oversight of dietary services in a long-term care facility for a 26-week assignment in or near Carlton, Minnesota. The role ensures nutritional standards, regulatory compliance, and effective teamwork while delivering high-quality meal service. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily dietary services within the long-term care facility.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor menus that meet nutritional standards and residents' dietary restrictions.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely and appropriate meal delivery and dietary care.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to food safety and dietary services.
  • Supervise dietary staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification or degree in dietary management or food service administration preferred.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred;
    Serv Safe or equivalent food safety certification; CPR certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in dietary management or food service within a healthcare setting; experience with long-term care facilities.
  • Ability to work dayshift (8 AM - 5 PM); strong organizational and communication skills; must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
