Job Overview

The HR Manager - Energy East will lead and manage all human resources functions for the Energy East division of Primoris Services Corporation, supporting its operational goals and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy for the Energy East division.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, for all positions within the Energy East division.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related issues, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage HR information systems (HRIS) and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Develop and deliver HR training programs for managers and employees.
  • Support organizational development initiatives and change management efforts.
  • Participate in strategic planning for the Energy East division, representing the HR function.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Proven experience supporting a large, geographically dispersed workforce, ideally within the energy, construction, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
