Description

The HR Coordinator is a key player in the Human Resources Department, overseeing crucial functions for operational success. Responsibilities include managing documentation, conducting background checks, ensuring statutory compliance, and leading HR support initiatives. This role is instrumental in fostering efficient onboarding, maintaining legal standards, and aiding across various HR tasks.

Pay range is $22.00/hr -$25.00/hr DOE.

Position responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations: HR Support:
  • Provide dedicated and consistent support to employees through the HR email inbox, over the phone assistance, and in-person inquiries, addressing questions and requests promptly.
  • Welcome new hires and conduct new hire orientation on behalf of the HR Department.
  • Process Employee Status Changes, Exit Forms and conduct Exit Interview
UKG System Management:
  • Serve as a dedicated point of contact for general UKG inquiries, assisting employees and resolving issues effectively.
Forms and Policies:
  • Update Policies and Forms:
    Regularly update and maintain a comprehensive database of up-to-date forms and policies for employee use.
  • Create, organize, and maintain electronic forms, implementing naming conventions, file type, and structures for efficient document retrieval.
Onboarding:
  • Support the recruiting process by posting open positions in the applicant tracking system (UKG), coordinating candidate communications, and conducting initial phone screens.
  • Perform all necessary onboarding duties in collaboration with the Recruiter.
  • Process I-9 information upon receipt, aiding new hires and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with immigration laws.
Verification and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with county, state, and federal regulations by distributing required employment and sexual exploitation documents to previous employers.
  • Conduct monthly Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks for employees to uphold safety and compliance standards.
  • Handle verification of employment requests from external agencies promptly and accurately.
Workplace Safety and Insurance:
  • Run Auto Insurance Reports:
    Generate and analyze auto insurance reports to ensure compliance with company policies. Send required notifications requesting updated information. Provide regular updates on auto insurance compliance to the HR Manager.
  • Facilitate and process orders for approved ergonomic equipment. Maintain records of requests and ensure timely delivery.
  • Process Employee Status Changes, Exit Forms and Exit Interviews
Performance Management:
  • Distribute lists of upcoming performance reviews to management teams every two months.
