DUTIES- Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in fields such as electronic data processing, information systems, system analysis, and computer programming.
- Engage with product and technology leaders to understand business strategy, vision, and priority.
- Lead multiple engineering/feature teams and drive operational excellence.
- Implement Agile software development and automation across all technology platforms.
- Identify gaps in skills and align them to the upskilling curriculum, reprioritizing as needed.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Refinement, Sprint Review, Retrospectives, Product Demos).
- Partner with Product Management to improve operational excellence and identify areas of opportunity.
- Serve as technical co-owner in partnership with other Principal Engineers for solutions.
- Collaborate with Lead Software Engineers and teams when security vulnerabilities, issues, or remediations are required and resolve within security guidelines.
- Provide guidance during product refinement, analysis, solutioning, and delivery.
- Provide meaningful feedback as people manager, conduct regular 1:1s and team meetings.
- Keep current with modern technologies and enterprise systems, maintaining knowledge and sharing concepts with colleagues.
- Lead and be accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level staff; ensure delivery frameworks and best practices are enacted.
- Conduct/participate in leadership meetings, PI Planning, product meetings, review meetings, and other meetings.
- Lead projects by collaborating with enterprise and/or external teams, coordinating execution, delivery, and reporting.
- Demonstrate thought leadership through speaking, learning forums, etc.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement via mentoring, feedback, and metrics.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in the role or a technology-related occupation.
- Two (2) years of experience in roadmap planning, prioritizing projects, and resource allocation.
- Experience implementing best practices, code reviews, and testing procedures to ensure high software quality standards.
- Healthcare domain experience.
- Experience with Azure cloud platform.
- Knowledge of architectural patterns such as microservices or event-driven, containers.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Asp.NET, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Dev Ops practices and tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub, CI/CD, or Docker.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019/2022, Windows OS, SQL Server, Office, Xamarin, Rally, and Microsoft Visio 2000/2003.
