Compensation

Compensation Range: $185,000 - $215,000 USD. Compensation Disclaimer:

Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of the Client Enablement Group, we are hiring a Technical Manager to lead a highly specialized development function supporting global enterprise clients using ARGUS and Altus Software solutions. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of people leadership, AI‑first engineering, client delivery, and technical architecture.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Integration Services and development function.
  • Oversee a team of developers and integration specialists across North America and India.
  • Partner with Architecture, Security, Product, Client Success, and Consulting teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Drive engineering discipline and operational governance by establishing development standards, testing frameworks, architectural documentation, code review processes, and delivery governance.
  • Lead and mentor a distributed technical team, providing coaching, technical growth, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Strengthen solution architecture and delivery practices, contributing to integration frameworks, reusable templates, coding standards, and deployment practices.
  • Support AI‑first engineering by identifying opportunities to leverage AI‑powered automation, agentic workflows, and modern engineering approaches.
  • Remain hands‑on technically, contributing to solution design, coding, troubleshooting, technical reviews, and architectural discussions.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture, security, infrastructure, and product engineering teams to ensure alignment with broader technology standards and evolving platform capabilities.
  • Act as a visible and trusted technical leader, bringing clarity, structure, and forward‑thinking leadership to modernise engineering practices.
Qualifications
  • Experience leading software engineering, integration services, or client‑facing technical delivery teams within a complex SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with modern AI‑enabled development practices, including AI‑powered automation and agentic workflows.
  • Strong experience with enterprise integrations, APIs, cloud platforms, automation workflows, databases, and scalable software delivery practices. Exposure to C#, Python, JavaScript/Type Script, SQL, Azure services, CI/CD tooling, and cloud‑based architecture is highly valued.
  • Experience supporting SaaS platforms, enterprise systems, financial platforms, or real‑estate technology environments is an asset.
  • Stakeholder management and communication skills: ability to partner with enterprise clients, business leaders, architects, developers, and cross‑functional teams; translate complex technical concepts into practical business language.
  • Architectural and governance mindset: experience introducing stronger engineering discipline, development standards, delivery governance, and scalable processes.
  • People leadership capabilities: experience leading and mentoring technical teams, coaching, performance management, and fostering accountability.
  • Adaptability and modernization focus: enthusiasm for complex technical challenges, evolving tech landscapes, and scaling improvements.
  • Ownership mindset and business acumen: initiative, clarity, risk assessment, prioritisation, and balanced decision‑making.
