Responsibilities

  • Partner with Strategic Ops leaders, partners and key stakeholders to understand strategic priorities across the enterprise, analyze customer and employee journeys, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Identify operational and technology initiatives required to support UW across the enterprise.
  • Partner with IT and various UW leaders across the enterprise to define the short- and long-term operations and technology roadmap.
  • Incorporate Strategic Analytics capabilities into operations workflows across the organization.
  • Advise on transformation initiative prioritizations by providing an enterprise-wide perspective.
  • Create business requirements and act as the glue between UW and IT.
  • Bring market insights on leading practices to inform business priorities across the organization.
  • Own and drive improvement in the CX/EX journeys, including partnering with Strategic Analytics to provide input to UI/UX.
  • Monitor UW operations by tracking performance metrics, SLAs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate cross-functional transformation efforts by serving as an initiative owner.
  • Lead implementation of technology and analytics-enabled workflows in collaboration with IT, SA, and other enabling functions as needed.
  • Partner with IT and Lean Deployment Specialists to implement automation strategies and other technology-driven workflows.
  • Partner with IT to review and provide feedback on IT value generation.
  • Participate in the development of the Triangulation COE and position the CoE to act as the central point for people, process, tech and data to support enterprise-wide business objectives.
  • Engage in cross-functional problem-solving across IT, Data, Strategic Analytics and other functions.

  • Deep knowledge and ability to discern operational and tech implications of strategic business plans.
  • Effective communication of enterprise strategy and operational plan to stakeholders and operational enablers across the organization.
  • Ability to engage IT and business partners to deliver solutions that meet customer and business needs.
  • Capacity to lead large-scale transformation efforts.
  • Experience documenting strategic requirements and identifying opportunities to improve customer and employee journeys.
Education and Credentials
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of prior experience in insurance operations, underwriting, business planning, IT, or another relevant role.
Skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to exert significant influence and present complex information to varying stakeholder groups.
  • Proficiency in teamwork, interpersonal communication, technical organization, complex problem-solving and service skills.
  • Self-starter, flexible, and adaptable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
  • Proficiency with Image Right, Policy Decisions Evolution and Policy Writer is a plus.
Compensation

Base salary range: $157,400 – $212,436 per year, with incentive eligibility. Total individual compensation (base salary, short- and long-term incentives) will consider factors such as geographic location, scope and responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability, specialization and business needs.
