Data Analyst
Position Summary
Responsible as team lead for defining, implementing and supporting advanced analytics solutions and capabilities for implementation and maintenance of programs across the Nuclear Business Unit. Determines workload and priority for the team. Provides expertise in the integration, analysis and wrangling of data in support of using technology solutions to reduce the cost of compliance and monitor fleet performance. Manipulates/analyzes complex datasets with a variety of tools;
communicates results clearly and concisely to provide insight to multiple audiences.
- Data Wrangling/Exploration:
Follow consistent practices to ensure data integrity and deal with imperfection; effectively process structured data; proficiently integrate datasets from various sources; draw conclusions; collaborate with stakeholders; analyze large amounts of data. - Work Management:
Manage multiple tasks, handle ambiguity and shifting priorities. Communicate status and estimates clearly and timely to management and team. Prioritize work for the team. - Communication:
Effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences; develop relationships; address analytic challenges; influence others. - Programming:
Develop efficient, high‑quality code; follow validation process; adhere to version control standards. - Continuing
Education:
Proactively understand industry and organization‑specific business issues. Participate in training courses; continually improve technical skills. - Data Visualization:
Create meaningful visualizations to communicate results and highlight performance trends.
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, Statistics, Analytics or related IT degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in an analytics environment.
- Expertise in SQL; comfortable working with large, complex datasets; drawing conclusions and proposing recommendations.
- Proven ability to partner, collaborate, and communicate with technical and non‑technical colleagues at all levels.
- Hands‑on experience constructing visual analytics with SAP products.
- Working knowledge of an analytics data warehouse and big data platforms.
- Familiarity with fundamentals of data pipelines, statistics and probability.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to wrangle data.
- Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead a team.
- Nuclear industry experience.
- Proficient programming experience in SQL / Python / M‑Code.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Hands‑on experience constructing visual analytics with SAP Business Objects.
