Assistant Claims Representative – Auto Claims

North Star Mutual Insurance Company is looking for individuals to handle auto claims for prompt, fair and economical resolution. Confirming coverages, setting reserves, sending necessary forms and assigning adjusters are key functions of this exciting, fast paced role.

Individuals that are self-starters, have strong analytical skills, possess the ability to negotiate, interact well with others, demonstrate basic math skills, and are solid communicators are encouraged to apply.

Bachelor’s degree or related work experience preferred. Previous insurance related background for this position would be helpful, but is not required.

This is a full-time in-office position.

While a variety of factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge, skillset, level of education and/or experience will be taken into consideration, it is anticipated this position will start at $25.50 per hour. This role may be eligible for a merit increase at the 6-month mark and then annually thereafter and is eligible for our profit-sharing bonus plan.

Starting Range $25.50 to $27.50 per hour.
