Underwriting Service Specialist

Position Summary

As an Underwriting Service Specialist, your role is to ensure account service delivery meets and exceeds our customers' expectations. The Underwriting Service Specialist works cross‑functionally, analyzing key information, determining appropriate action, and handling issues under limited supervision. This position collaborates with underwriters, corporate resources, and global teams to meet both internal and external commitments.

• Policy & endorsement issuance
• File documentation and set‑up
• Review account information for data entry into appropriate systems
• Order, prepare and update reports
• Policy rating and/or initial entry into rating model
• Processing various underwriting transactions and requests
• Correspond with brokers for information at underwriter’s request
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2+ years of underwriting assistant experience within commercial P&C (Auto, GL, WC)

Base salary range: $55,300 - $82,700 per year. Position is incentive eligible. Total compensation will vary based on geographic location, role scope, qualifications, talent availability, specialization, and business needs.
