Job Overview
As an Assistant Account Manager in Mid‑South Specialties, you will be responsible for any operational aspects of an account as well as day‑to‑day activities. This position requires a positive and coachable attitude, strong multitasking and prioritizing skills, and a commitment to client service.
LocationDuluth, Georgia. In‑office position, Monday‑Friday.
What You’ll Do- Act as client advocate always.
- Maintain a positive relationship and excellent communication with client and co‑workers.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, mail, and email in a professional and courteous manner. Strive to resolve all inquiries during first communication with client.
- Handle Certificate Requests.
- Follow up on Notices of Cancellation.
- Process Auto Issuance.
- Assist with Policy Change Requests.
- Check mailbox daily.
- Perform Online Rating for Small Business.
- Follow up for Renewal Policy Issuance.
- Create Renewal Proposals.
- Prepare binders.
- Invoicing.
- Process Audits.
- Post documents to EPIC Portal.
- Obtain loss runs.
- Create policy checklists.
- Obtain premium finance quotes.
- Paperless filing.
- Obtain loss runs (duplicate).
- Create loss summary tracking.
- Prepare ACORD applications.
- Become a student of the business – seek insurance knowledge through training and education.
- High school or GED education required; college graduate preferred.
- P&C insurance license or related work experience preferred; if not currently licensed, must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Working knowledge of computers and relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, Outlook).
- Excellent written, verbal, listening, and organizational skills.
- Strong language, mathematical, analytical, and reasoning ability.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency when responding to an inquiry.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects.
- Attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Attend internal and external training classes and seminars.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
