Commercial Litigation Associate

Andersen, Tate & Carr, P.C. (ATC) is a full-service law firm based in Duluth, Georgia with approximately 30 attorneys.

ATC is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 0–3 years of experience to join our growing litigation team to work on a wide variety of commercial litigation matters (e.g. contract disputes, business disputes, real estate disputes, employment disputes, etc.). This role offers training from multiple partners, as well as meaningful client, writing, deposition, and courtroom exposure. ATC is looking for a motivated associate who wants to continue to learn, gain experience, and be on an eventual partnership track to build their own long-term practice at the firm.

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
• Manage written and oral discovery
• Handle court appearances and hearings
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel under appropriate supervision
• Contribute to case strategy development
• Meet an annual billable-hours expectation of 1,800

• J.D. and admission to (or eligibility for admission to) the State Bar of Georgia
• 0–3 years of civil litigation experience/interest
• Sound judgment and strong writing and analytical skills
• Eagerness to represent clients in courtroom proceedings
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated interest in building a long-term litigation practice and client relationships
