What You'll Do
- Collaborate with supply chain team members, as well as other ALLETE employees.
- Assist with administrative tasks.
- Process low dollar purchase requisitions.
- Assist with expediting deliveries of parts/materials.
- Audit purchase orders for compliance with contracts.
- Assure that vendors and contractors comply with purchase orders and contracts.
- Use effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain strong working relationships.
What You'll Bring
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Transportation & Logistics, Business Administration, or Accounting with an expected graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028
- This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.
How To Stand Out
- Demonstrate computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, M365)
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have the ability to work with a variety of people in changing situations
Details & Duration of Internship
- This position will report regularly in person to Duluth, MN
- This role is expected to run approximately from Fall 2026 to Fall 2027
- The internship will be part-time (16-20 hours per week) during the school year and full time during the summer with the possibility of extending until graduation.
- ALLETE will comply with college requirements
- Hours and duration may be subject to change based on company needs

- The expected hourly compensation for this position is $20.50.
