Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Sweeps and mops floors, vacuums, and spot clean carpeted areas.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and woodwork; dusts counters, windowsills, window blinds and similar fixtures.
• Empties, cleans, and lines waste receptacles and disposes of trash.
• Washes doors, windows, walls, ceilings, window blinds and furniture; polishes metalwork.
• Cleans and disinfects restrooms and locker rooms, restocking restroom supplies as necessary.
• Cleans lighting fixtures and reports the need for bulb or tube replacement.
• Breaking down cardboard.
• Reports the need for maintenance or repair of facilities to the appropriate supervisor; corrects and/or reports any fire or safety hazards, and places barriers in public areas.
• Maintains equipment, materials, and supplies in proper condition.
• Promotes co‑operation and a welcoming environment for all.
• Observes safe working practices, including maintaining storage areas in a safe condition.
• Follows label instructions to mix and dilute cleansers, disinfectants, and stripping agents to ensure proper strength for use.
• Answers questions and provides standard information to customers and staff.
• Reports unauthorized persons and other security problems.

• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and understand MSDS sheets and instructions related to chemical usage.
• Ability to bend and stoop in order to clean out of way areas.
• Ability to push and pull vacuum cleaner and other equipment.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move tables and chairs in order to clean areas thoroughly (maximum of 50 pounds).
• Ability to work with chemicals for cleaning.
• Ability to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
• Ability to reach overhead for extended periods of time.
• Must show respect for differences in background, viewpoint, and need.

• Previous cleaning experience.
• Reliable transportation.

Work Environment:
These work environment factors are general in nature and may vary depending on the specific position/site being filled. Constant:
Near and midrange vision; hearing within 5 ft up to 20 ft; use of arms; right and left wrist turns. Frequent:
Lift and carry up to 25 pounds; far vision; depth perception; balance; bending and rotating neck; use of fingers; grasp; handle; reaching above shoulder; sit; squat; stoop/bend; walk; talk/speak; work with and around others, or work alone; may work with behavioral and/or physical challenges; and customer/public contact. Occasional:
Crouch; kneel.
