Job Summary
The Electrical Project Manager position is responsible for marketing, estimating, project administration, planning, scheduling, and reporting for medium‑sized electrical construction projects. Hunt Electric works on Commercial, Health Care, Signal Work, and Industrial Mining projects in the Duluth area and on the Range.
Responsibilities- Maintain existing and develop new customer relationships to secure future business.
- Direct and supervise service technicians, general foremen, foremen, and their crews in compliance with contracts, union agreements, and company policies.
- Manage assigned projects economically while ensuring customer satisfaction, quality workmanship, and a positive industry image.
- Prepare, process, and maintain all files, correspondence, schedules, reports, and billing necessary for contract performance.
- Direct project planning through purchasing, engineering, subcontracting, and installation.
- Work with a team during the bidding process when necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least five years of experience as a project manager in the electrical industry.
- Ability to understand design/build requirements and the scope of contract documents.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in the electrical industry.
- Knowledge of business and management principles such as strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and production methods.
- Ability to develop specific goals and plans, prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to train, delegate, and coordinate the work of Assistant Project Managers, Estimators, and other team members.
Pay Range: $87,552.00 – $. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only.
