Atlas is currently seeking a PQM Coordinator 3 to join our Duluth, GA team.
Responsibilities- Using Microsoft Office platforms to manage projects and track project progress.
- Applying project management tools and practices effectively.
- Managing projects and achieving project milestones.
- Coordinating project budget and performing funds management.
- Implementing Georgia Department of Transportation systems, policies, and procedures.
- Four‑year degree in a field related to engineering, project management, business administration, or a comparable industry, with 5 to 10 years of experience within the GDOT transportation industry.
- Or master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a comparable subject, or 15 years or more experience within the industry.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Access).
- Use of office equipment such as personal computers, calculators, and copiers.
- Public speaking during meetings with team members, local governments, and clients.
- Adaptability to new and challenging situations while continuously acquiring knowledge to improve skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Facilitation of positive dialogue to resolve differences and reach compromises.
- Effective communication and relationship management with people, groups, and organizations.
- Self‑motivation and results orientation; ability to work independently on multiple tasks without immediate supervision.
- High‑level proficiency in written and verbal communication, proofreading, and editing.
- Occasional local travel may be required; work location is 5 days in the office with hybrid options available for discussion.
- Experience with GDOT Plan Development Processes or combinations of GDOT processes.
- Experience with local government administration.
- Experience in business management, program control, or infrastructure.
- Two‑year experience in project management principles, practices, and processes.
- Familiarity with related technological developments and ability to integrate new technology.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM).
