Job Description
We are offering an exciting permanent/direct hire opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager in Minneapolis, MN. This role is central to our operations, focusing on managing accounts payable and certain human resources functions. You will be part of a team operating in a fast‑paced environment, dealing with a variety of responsibilities from managing payroll, managing the AP process, to overseeing various HR/benefits functions.
This is a fully onsite opportunity, with some general flexibility in hours. This role is full time and direct hire, and free parking is provided onsite. An ideal candidate will have 3+ years of full‑cycle accounts payable experience, and 1+ years of HR experience is preferred, but not required. Candidates must be proficient in MS Excel, including the knowledge of pivot tables and vlookups.

Responsibilities- Oversee the processing of payroll via our payroll provider
- Supervise and manage accounts payable entries and check writing tasks
- Handle responsibilities related to benefits administration
- Manage workers' compensation matters and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Perform various other duties as assigned in alignment with our operational needs
- Utilize accounting software systems for efficient data processing
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to auditing standards
- Apply knowledge of accrual accounting in the management of accounts payable
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Paylocity, and other similar tools for data analysis and presentation
- Ensure compliance with IRS W‑9 Forms and Form 1099 guidelines
- Oversee the open enrollment process and benefits administration
- Manage unemployment claims and workers' compensation matters effectively
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager role or similar
- Proficiency in account coding is necessary
- Familiarity with various accounting software systems is required
- Experience with ADP – Financial Services is advantageous
- Knowledge of Concur is expected
- Must be capable of efficient data processing
- Familiarity with various accounting functions is essential
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary
- Knowledge of accrual accounting is expected
- Experience with auditing is advantageous
- Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is required
- Proficiency in IQMS is necessary
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Paylocity is advantageous
- Familiarity with Form 1099 and IRS W‑9 Forms is expected
- Experience with open enrollment and benefits administration is necessary
- Knowledge of unemployment claim and workers compensation processes is expected
