The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and productive operation of our physical facilities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for building maintenance, landlord relations, and vendor management. The Facilities Manager will oversee daily operations, coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance, and ensure all site services are delivered to high standards, keeping our buildings fully operational, compliant, and optimized for business needs.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the facility, ensuring HVAC, lighting, security, and building systems are running smoothly.
- Manage service contracts, negotiate terms, monitor performance, and oversee third‑party vendors (e.g., cleaning, landscaping, security) for quality and cost‑effectiveness.
- Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and building owners/property management to resolve facility‑related issues and manage lease compliance.
- Ensure workplace meets all local safety, fire, and health regulations.
- Oversee multiple national locations while supporting local management.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and fire suppression).
- Project management of facility improvement, renovations, or space planning initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills for interacting with landlords, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Problem‑solving ability to act decisively during facility emergencies (e.g., power outages, water leaks).
- CAD skills are desirable.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
