Location Description
Northfield, Minn. is home to two Post Consumer Brands manufacturing plants, the Campbell Mill and Ames Mill, two distribution centers, and more than 750 team members. The Campbell Mill plant is 1 million square feet and houses seven manufacturing technologies for cereal production. Northfield is a history-rich town with two colleges and the original Ames Mill where Malt-O-Meal began.
Post Consumer Brands has an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who work well in a collaborative team, with skills in mechanical tasks using basic hand tools and strong attention to detail.
This full-time position is responsible for operating and monitoring equipment on processing production lines. Our processing team members operate and monitor equipment where raw ingredients are baked, flaked, puffed, cooked, and made into cereal. You will ensure the equipment runs correctly while adhering to quality and safety standards. We are filling several positions at our Northfield Manufacturing Campus.

Work Schedule:
12-hour shifts beginning at 4, 4:30, or 5 am (depending on business unit) following a 2-2-3 schedule (Week one: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on. Week two: 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off) resulting in built-in overtime pay and having every other weekend off-work.
Pay Rate: $25.50/hour
Job Activities & Duties- Operate and monitor all equipment in partnership with the processing team by following company procedures to ensure it is running correctly
- Use basic hand tools to perform repairs and light maintenance on all related equipment
- Record production data required for measuring waste, downtime or production efficiency, or other pertinent data as required
- Communicate with team members to stay up to date on important information, processes, issues, and concerns
- Participate in safety training and strictly follow safety policies, rules, and procedures
- Occasionally operate forklift to transport materials to designated area of production area
- Perform quality checks on raw ingredients, intermediate and finished products
- Work with dry/raw ingredients to create batches and vitamin/slurry mixture
