The Manufacturing Tech II at PRINSCO is responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring quality control, and adhering to safety standards. This role plays a crucial part in optimizing production efficiency and contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Conduct quality checks and inspections on products to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and productivity.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Document and report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist in training and mentoring new team members to ensure a high level of competency within the team.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for enhancing manufacturing processes.
Required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
An associate degree in manufacturing technology or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience with operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
Proven track record of adhering to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

Skills and Abilities:
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with manufacturing software and data entry.
Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed to meet production demands.
