Job Overview
This position is responsible for sorting hold area slabs, selecting slabs for fabrication, and moving slabs to the necessary line location.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Learn and apply the concepts of Cambria warehouse work as outlined in the Warehouse SOPs and Stage material to prepare for inspection.
- Sort slabs using an overhead crane and store them in the correct locations.
- Ensure that slabs are scanned correctly.
- Inspect the overhead crane daily.
- Operate a forklift as needed (minimal, no experience required).
- Complete safety inspections of forklift and crane.
- Participate in monthly inventory counts.
- Communicate with supervisor to keep them informed of material defects and inventory levels.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Conduct all job‑related duties in a safe and responsible manner.
- Show a sense of urgency in completing work.
- Cross‑train on multiple types of equipment.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.
- Ability to work safely and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to become certified in using a forklift and an overhead crane.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, materials, and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to speak and read English sufficiently to converse with the general public, read and understand highway signs/signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports/records.
- Ability to use measuring equipment.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and technical procedures.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Critical thinking skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Warehouse experience (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
AutoCAD is preferred. - High attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, direct communication, sense of urgency, multitasking ability, strong teamwork and self‑motivation.
Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of buildings; lift up to 60lbs.; push/pull 100lbs.; stand on feet on concrete for long periods for up to 12hours with intermittent breaks; work outdoors in all weather conditions; walk up and down steps multiple times; bend over multiple times.

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $19.00‑$24.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The displayed range reflects the target for new hires. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job‑related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
