Machinist​/Mill Operator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines (manual and/or CNC)
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure all parts meet specifications
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Accurately document production data and report defects or issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Cross-train on additional equipment as needed

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

• 1–3+ years of machining or mill operation experience preferred
• Technical degree in machining or related field is a plus (not required)
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
• Experience with precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of CNC programming (G & M code) is a plus
• Solid math and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

• Pay: $30–$40 per hour (based on experience)
• 120 hours PTO (prorated first year)
